Zoological Survey to study declining number of migratory birds in Kulik

KOLKATA: Concerned over the decline in the number of migratory birds that flew in last year to the State’s Raiganj Wildlife Sanctuary — one of the largest sanctuaries for avian visitors in South Asia — the Zoological Survey of India (ZSI) will carry out a study on the causes and ways to improve habitat, officials told The Hindu on Sunday.
